Vintage travertine marble console

This console has a geometric form reminiscent of Angelo Mangiarotti. Two slender, square-based travertine-like marble pyramids support an oval tabletop. The marble has beautiful veining which expresses the material’s inner structure comprising of forms like whorls and tendrils.

Chipping to base, legs and marble top. Some marks on legs. Small repairs to the top.
