Ribbons of stainless steel unfurl into a sinuous bed frame, designed by Sergio Chiappa-Cattò, Angelo Cortesi & Carlo Torrigiani Aucuba. Its lithe form is minimalistic, but the polished metal speaks of science and the technological triumphs of the space age.

An extremely rare Aucuba bed for DID – Dada Industrial Design. Featuring a polished nickel frame, with leather webbing. The chrome headboard and footboard are the original vintage and signed. The mattress frame and webbing have been custom made by our specialist metal artisan and upholsterer.

Takes UK King size or Super King mattress, photographed with a brand new IKEA mattress, included upon request.

Appears in the literature: Casa Vogue, n. 56, April 1976. Some tarnishing and scratches to the polished nickel frame. A new mattress support has been made.

Some scuffs, minor pitting and oxidation to nickel. New webbed mattress frame produced and provided.
