Robin Day Interplan Sideboard

A sideboard from the Interplan range by the leading British furniture designer of the post war era Robin Day. Vitrolite glass sliding doors sit inside a mahogany veneered cabinet which sits on top of tubular metal legs. Very rarely seen on the market, an exceptional piece of museum quality design. This particular piece has some provenance, it was exhibited in the Robin Day retrospective in Liberty department store in the early 2000s.

The cabinet has been refinished and the wood is in excellent condition. A chip to the edge of one piece of glass has been polished out, now perfect.
