Pierre Paulin’s collaboration with the Belgium manufacturers Boro produced a stunning example of early plastic furniture. The organic design of the 8810 Flower chair in 1972 was created from white ABS plastic and was originally intended for outdoor use. Such was the success the chair’s shape Boro produced an accompanying table a few years later using Paulin’s signature soft curves most commonly seen in his upholstered pieces for Artifort. It could be used as a dining table or desk. This very rare set has been refinished in order to restore them back to their original pure white colour, please note imagery was taken prior to this. N.B The base of the chair has been restored to make a crack invisible and structurally sound. Available as a set or separately. Chair – H67 W45 D45cm. Table – H74 W155 D90cm E019 & E020
