A pair of rare Tito Agnoli wall lamps in metal and ribbed Fresnel-style glass. The use of glass textured in this way is almost anomalous within the designer’s oeuvre, bar a pendant in the same material.
An icon of modernist lighting design, Peruvian-born Agnoli (1931-2012) studied architecture in Italy and interned for the likes of Gio Ponti and Carlo de Carli. He was inspired by the Bauhaus movement, and his specialism in industrial design is evident in his beautifully engineered lighting.
Recently rewired and PAT tested to UK standards. Metal is weathered in line with outdoor use. No chips to glass.
