Le farfalle translates to butterfly in Italian, reflecting the striking winged form of this pair. Roberto Lucci and Paolo Orlandini began their partnership in 1968, creating a wide array of products for companies including Elam and Knoll. With its metal frame blooming out like wings to support two plump cushions, they skillfully created an unexpected harmony between natural form and sharp industrial metal.
