Pair of Emma Gismondi Schweinberger Chi table lamps

An elegant pair of 1960s glass table lamps from Italian designer Emma Gismondi Schweinberger (1934-2019). The principles of the Bauhaus echo in the levelled globe of this piece. 

Gismondi Schweinberger’s designs are held in the permanent collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum, New York’s MoMA and the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris. (1934-2019). She was married to fellow designer and Artemide co-founder Ernesto Gismondi. 

Recently rewired and pat tested to UK standards.
