Pair of conical wood and metal lamps

A striking pair of conical wood and metal lamps. The sharp, geometric shades diffuse an ambient glow while adding sculptural height to the piece. The slender stand rises with a subtle lip at its top, column-like in attitude, grounded by a square metal base. The cables are wrapped in a tactile fabric.

The strong geometry of the lamps comfortably places them within the vocabulary of 1980s Italian design. They are in good vintage condition.
