Pair of Alberto Cassoli embossed metal shelves

Little is known about Italian designer Alberto Cassoli, who produced a limited body of imaginative works in embossed metal. Almost Rococo in silhouette, this pair of decorative shelves have a scalloped edge that recalls petals in bloom. The effect is offset by the textured metal finish.

In good vintage condition. The metal is heavily patinated and features minor stains.
