Pair Mario Bellini Area table lamp

Italian architect Mario Bellini (1935-) is well known for creating powerful, thoughtful and creative pieces of design. The chunky base of the Area table lamps supports a ruffled shade made of a fibrous parchment which reflects that of a flower in bloom. They work beautifully as a pair or as singles with their varying heights dispersing an ambient diffused light.

In good condition with some wear to the base and some discolouration to the fibrous parchment shade. Rewired and PAT tested to UK standards. Matching floor lamp also available.
