Marzio Cecchi cantilevered bed frame

Rare red enamel cantilever bed frame by visionary architect Marzio Cecchi (b1940 – 1990). Produced by his design practice Studio Most, his pieces were limited run made-to-order, and so are highly scarce and collectible. Cecchi could be said to be a practitioner of ‘total design’ – from a building’s structure to the objects in its interior.

The bed is in good vintage condition. The red enamel with scuffs and losses in places. The internal frame has been adapted to use new slats. It can dismantle for transit.
