Mario Bellini Tentazione armchairs

A pair of generously proportioned and plush Piccola Tentazione armchairs by Milanese architect Mario Bellini. They are a fine example of the pieces that he designed for Cassina from 1973 onwards. 

Bellini (b.1935) is a renowned Italian designer. His instinct for creating monumental pieces of design with distinctive architectural character has won him eight Compasso d’Oro awards and the Gold Medal for Lifetime Achievement by the Triennale di Milano.

The chairs have recently been reupholstered in a Rose Uniacke alpaca fabric.
