Marc Maet ‘Gekruiste Sterren’ painting

Marc Maet was a Belgian Postwar & Contemporary artist, born in 1955. He belonged to a generation of Belgian artists that reverted back to the brush, the canvas and the paint. ‘Gekruiste Sterren’ meaning crossed stars, is prime example of his practice. Subtle constellations dance across the painting, hiding in the concrete like surface.
