Jim Partridge and Liz Walmsley unit

Jim Partridge (1953-) and Liz Walmsley (1952-) started collaborating in 1986. Carved from blocks of green oak and then stained in a white finish, the shelving unit’s light tone yet solid aesthetic follows their intention to make “work with a strong but quiet presence in the landscape.”

In good vintage condition, the surface has an innate roughness, with wear and open wood grain. It has recently had the joints restored. Some scuffs and surface wear. One of two similar available.
