Hans Hopfer Corner sofa and ottoman in ivory bouclé

A super rare Hans Hopfer modular sofa with round ottoman, newly reupholstered in luxury wool and alpaca bouclé. Hopfer’s Paysage – ‘landscape’ in French – trades the grid-like components of his famous Mah Jong sofa for organic, petal-like forms.

Hopfer spent much of his time moving between Buenos Aires, Nuremberg and Paris. Perhaps spending his time in various cultural settings influenced and inspired his ‘landscape seating’.
