Luigi Caccia Dominioni LS10 Boccia lamp

Luigi Caccia Dominioni, one of the world’s oldest practicing architects when he died in 2016 aged 103, was according to Pin Up magazine “the architect’s architect”. Visible in every street corner in Milan and championed on the pages of Domus, his works evoke Baroque and Milanese tradition while being totally innovative. In 1947 Caccia co-founded Azucena along with the architect Ignazio Gardella. The LS10 Boccia ceiling lamp is a distinctive piece from their collection.

Not out of place in an old palazzo, the small curvilinear blown milk glass structure hangs from a modern black aluminium bulb holder and hook structure. The metal elements have recently been restored and have no chips to the paint. Rewired and PAT tested for the UK, can be re-wired for other countries on request.
