Dillon & Wheeler Multipla chair

Multipla lounge chairs were designed by the previously-overlooked designer Jane Dillon, alongside Peter Wheeler. Dillon (1943-present), who still works from her studio in Peckham, studied in Italy under Ettore Sottsass in the late 1960s and went on to make designs for Habitat and Conran Associates. 

The Multipla, a collaboration with Peter Wheeler from the early 1990s, forms part of the collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. It was originally made for Kron designs and has become a sought-after collectible. Newly reupholstered in a blush-caramel mohair velvet.
