Close Encounter lamp and plant stand

This really cool Bergerscollectie ‘Close encounter’ floor lamp for Kerst Koopman is a real wonder. It’s staggered cylindrical forms are playful, yet its muted white lacquer is restrained, creating an interesting futurist object. It comes with shelves, a neat storage alcove (bedside table?), a storage unit (planter / umbrella stand?). It is made from lacquered wood with an opaline glass shade. A really dynamic piece.

Hand signed on the on the underside edition 34/82, in excellent vintage condition. Smaller version available — make a set!
