Bruno Gatta milk glass chandelier

Nice large ceiling fixture model 288 designed by Bruno Gatta for Stilnovo, Italy, 1950s. This lamp has a black lacquered metal shade with milk glass opaline glass diffuser shade, which is held by elegant nickel fittings. White ceiling plate. Suspended on architectural cable. Looks beautiful diffused over a dining table. Good condition, possibly later refinishing. This lamp is documented in Domus 1959 on a Stilnovo advertisement. Stilnovo was one of the best Italian lighting producers, together with Arteluce and Arredoluce.
