Antique wooden column bookcase (narrow)

A monumental  towering wooden column bookcase, thought to have been designed for offices of importance in 19^th century England. Interchangeable slats allow for the heights of the shelves to be customized to the users need, with a mesh lined door covering them. The back of the shelves are lined with jaunty pieces of wood adding a certain character to the piece.

The wood is in good vintage condition, with some age and markings. The surface holds signs of old woodworm, which we have had professionally treated with humidity, results certified and guaranteed. The bookcase is relatively light – we would recommend fixing to the wall. Wider matching bookcase available.
