Lively and dynamic, this sculpture in the style of Argentine sculptor Alicia Penalba recalls a surging wave or terrestrial form. Made by mixing bronze powder with a resin to give the impression of solid metal, the piece has a pleasing textural interest and likely dates to 1950 – 1970. It’s in good vintage condition with some attractive blue-green oxidisation to the copper surface.
