Just Andersen Pewter candelabras ‘model 769’

This pair of Just Andersen pewter candlesticks from the 1920s features a distinctive Art Deco double-arm design. Andersen (1884-1943) was a pioneering Danish designer and manufacturer. He trained as a sculptor and began working with metal in the early 1920s. His early pieces were inspired by Art Deco, but he soon developed his own style that blended geometric shapes with an organic expression.

The pair is in good vintage condition. The maker’s mark is engraved at the base of the candelabras.
