Art Deco bureau in painted birch

This minimalist birch secretary desk features a locked fall-front, two drawers and elegant cabriole legs. The secretary desk originated in France and became increasingly popular from the 18th century onwards. Designed for privacy and storage, they often feature intricate interior compartments.

Restored with a mid to dark brown stain, lightweight enough to show the wood grain. Keys are included.
