Art Deco bureau in stained burr

This minimalist birch secretaire bureau with beautiful burr grain, features a locked fall-front, two drawers and elegant cabriole legs. The ‘secretaire’ desk originated in France and became increasingly popular from the 18th century onwards. Designed for privacy and storage, they often feature intricate interior compartments. 

Restored with a mid to dark brown stain, lightweight enough to show the wood grain. Keys are included. We have a similar one also on the way if you are looking for two complementary.
