Luigi Serafini Set of six Santa dining chairs

A sculptural yet surrealist chair design from the mind of Memphis Milano maestro Luigi Serafini (b. 1949), who works as an architect, sculptor and set designer. Charbon velvet padded seats are supported by a lightweight frame and a sun-like headrest in this playful and decidedly unconventional design. A rare find. 

Whilst one chair is pictured, a set of six is chairs is available.

These chairs have been refinished to expose their stainless steel and brass base. The cushions have recently been reupholstered in a dark brown mohair velvet.
