This charming burr wood bureau is typical of the Swedish Grace movement, a lesser-known Scandinavian branch of Art Deco. A contrasting two-tone wood trim frames the burr-veneered compartments and adds appealing detail to the handles. A key opens the writing cavity to reveal the desk surface and a trio of small compartments, as well as providing entry to two drawers below. Satisfying circular knobs open two further full-width drawers. A pleasure to work at. 

Some light restoration work to the feet has left this lovely piece in very good vintage condition. Minor surface wear.
