Superstudio Quaderna dining table

Superstudio were a group of Florence based architects linked to the ‘Radical Design’ movement born in the 1960s. The Quaderna range is accepted as being one of the clearest representations of the movement, envisioning a future where we are all connected to a grid – who’d have thought?

A silk screen printed white plastic laminate coats an ingenious honey-combed core, allowing the piece to be both relatively light and strong. This table has proportions that simply feel right and can comfortably seats 4 to 8 people around it – 10 at a push. It has minor losses to the laminated surface at the base of two of the legs which can be restored. There are also several minor surface scratches and signs of age however, we consider it to be in very good vintage condition for it’s age.
