Sergio Mazza’s ‘Pi Cavo’ lights, designed for Artemide, are part of a range of lighting designs named after letters in the Greek alphabet including Delta, Gamma, Kappa, and Tau. They have a strong architectonic design in keeping with Mazza’s original training, and a sensitivity to materials exemplified by the metal elements made from nickel-plated brass and internally frosted glass.
They have recently been rewired to UK standards. In good vintage condition, the metal elements have a delicate speckled patina to the surface.
