Papiro, translating to ‘papyrus’ is a tall reed like plant that sprouts a cone of grass at the top. With the Papiro floor lamp, architect Sergio Calatroni (1951-) blurs the line between art and design, with an organic, sinous form, “halfway between a lamp and a domestic sculpture.”
The stem can be modelled at will and uses 15 watt LED. This lamp is still produced now but the vintage ones are collectable, owing to the charm of the aged metal. This one in a natural copper finish is in lovely vintage condition having developed a good patina over time. Rewired and PAT tested to UK standards.
