Papiro, translating to ‘papyrus’ is a tall reed like plant that sprouts a cone of grass at the top. With the Papiro floor lamp, architect Sergio Calatroni (1951-) blurs the line between art and design, with an organic, sinous form, “halfway between a lamp and a domestic sculpture.”
The stem can be modelled at will and uses 15 watt LED. These lamps are still produced now but the vintage ones are collectable, owing to the charm of the aged metal. These ones in natural copper finish are in lovely vintage condition having developed a good patina over time. Rewired and PAT tested to UK standards. Two available for sale, a third lamp available for hire only.
Two are H220 D18cm
