Sculptural burl chair

The burled surface holds a beautifully intricate marbling texture. Its’ subtle brutalist form provides a striking visual weight placing it between boldness and elegance. A fine black border to the edges helps provide definition to each of the faces. Burl is veneer sliced from the more scarce knotted outgrowths at the base of tree-trunks.

Signs of age across all surfaces, scratches and losses. Structurally sound. Can have further restoration on request.
