Pablo Curatella Manes (1891-1962) was a prolific Argentinian sculptor. This bronze plaque, depicting ‘Lancelot and Guinevere’ shows the figure of Guinevere with long flowing hair embracing the kneeling figure of Lancelot, signed Manes to the top left-hand corner and on the side with Valsuani Paris, the foundry in which it was cast.

Dark brown patina across its surfaces.
