Named the ‘Amoeboid’ by the designer, the table has become known as the ‘Cloud table’ also after its form. Designed by Neil Morris for Morris & Co, Glasgow in 1947, it exploits the design possibilities of laminated wood by combining French polished Honduras mahogany and Canadian Betula – the chamfered edging exposing the different layers to great effect.

This table is in very good vintage condition with few signs of past use.
