Lorenzo Burchiellaro cast aluminium mirror

Lorenzo Burchiellaro is an Italian designer and sculptor. A highly skilled metalworker, he makes pieces from primarily from cast gold, silver, bronze, brass, aluminium, zinc and copper. His works take on simple forms with highly textured surfaces.

Inconsistent striations in the surface of this mirror suggest hand-chiselled marks. Fixing with a mounting plate to the back, it is in excellent condition with little signs of wear or prior use.
