Kwok Hoï Chan Kaïdo chair and ottoman

Drawing inspiration from a fictional alphabet borrowed from Chinese calligraphy. Hong Kong born Kwok Hoï Chan emigrated to Europe where in France he paired up with the Parisian manufacturer Steiner, whom he designed the Kaïdo series with. 

The Kaïdo is a very rare and sought after piece of design with this lounge chair and ottoman set being no exception. The set has soft and sensual forms flowing through the structures, with the low back support of the chair and the pairing of the ottoman this makes for comfortable lounging.

Recently reupholstered in a dark brown velvet mohair by Pierre Frey.
