Hans Eichenberger (1926 – present) is a prominent Swiss designer whose work is represented at MoMA in New York, Vitra Design Museum and the Museum of Design in Zurich. His ingenuity and adaptability are reflected in this pillar box cupboard. Of all the variations Eichenberger did for this design, this one has the most industrial of looks. This unit is an ex advertising pillar with slanted shelves.
In good vintage condition, minor surface wear. This model is second hand but believed to be a later edition of the Eichenberger pillar cupboard which has been in steady production, priced accordingly.
