France, 19th century

Made in France well over one hundred years ago, this large ebonised mantel mirror is intricately detailed with columns and carved embossments. The mirror’s size and bold character make it well suited to hang above a fireplace or in a hallway. 

The wooden frame is in good vintage condition, with some signs of age. The mirror has some beautiful foxing and patina to the surface.
