This chair is newly upholstered to enhance its anthropomorphic character. Jane Dillon (1943-present) studied under Ettore Sottsass in the late 1960s and went on to make designs for Habitat and Conran Associates. This chair, a collaboration with Peter Wheeler from the early 1990s forms part of the collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. It was originally made for Kron designs and has become a sought-after item by collectors.
This chair is newly reupholstered in a fine off-white Dedar boucle. Unlike other boucles it is wool cut with cotton and not too yellow-toned.
