A constructivist wooden prototype chair made from wood that has been painted black. The chair is naively constructed but shows several interesting elements such as an edgy decorative side profile and a seat created from tessellated end grain pieces. The chair is marked on the underside with the initial ‘MCB’. It is in excellent cosmetic and structural condition.
