A large hand carved biomorphic stone sculpture featuring both rough and polished segments with a subtle hand carved detail to the edge. The smooth faces and centre hole are reminiscent of Barbara Hepworth while the rougher surfaces evoke the craggy textures of a barren rockface. The pale marble tone is accented with darker earthen red and green hues.
The marble is worn with visible hand carving marks along one edge. It is generally in good vintage condition. On closer inspection it has sustained a few small chips and scratches, but hard to decipher them amongst the general patination of the rockface.
