Thick slab-topped monastery table from the Auvergne region of France. Lovely natural dry and gnarled finish with heavily patinated surface due to years of near constant use. Been through various sympathetic restorations over the centuries with parts both repaired & replaced. Can seat six comfortably and eight occasionally.
