Angelo Mangiarotti M1 dining table

The M1 T70 table’s clean and elegant form is based around architect Angelo Mangiarotti’s desire to create an impressive table using substantial materials without any visible joints. Designed in 1969 for Skipper, it is made solely from solid Arabescato marble, in an interlocking system where the weight of the round top keeps it secure on its conical pedestal.

Mangiarotti’s work as an architect and industrial designer was led by a belief that carefully respecting the material characteristics was imperative to developing a form. In great condition having been recently re-polished by a stone restorer.
