Charming early 20th century cerused oak coffee table in the manner of architect Josef Frank. Whilst this coffee table is unattributed it certainly sings the tune of Frank’s design sensibilities and aesthetic.
The rectangular form is modest in detail playing with scale instead. The wooden legs in solid oak cut a classical and minimal silhouette but are chunky. A thick slab firmly sits on top, veneered on all faces to show off the cerused grain. It is in very good condition with minor traces of use. The top has had a minor repair to fix a lifting section of the veneer.
