This is a rare example of a totally original country table from lower Normandy. It is an elemental object whose patination has an inimitable quality from having been in constant use throughout its entire life. The table’s last recorded use was in a farriers’ workshop, and it is believed to have originally been a preparatory table from a large country estate. The table was crafted with fine butterfly joints making it incredibly strong and sturdy to the present day.
