Pair alabaster conical lamps

A pair of sculptural table lamps with conical bases of solid alabaster topped with alabaster globe shades. Alabaster is known for its translucence; when lit, an ethereal glow travels beyond the shade into the lamp’s base, highlighting the ivory and blush
tones of the stone’s natural grain.
The lamps are contemporary prototypes by two Barcelona-based designers, and are not yet in formal production. Produced from reclaimed alabaster. Rewired to comply with UK lighting standards.
