Travertine pedestal dining table

This minimal dining table is cut from travertine stone and presents a form not too dissimilar to one by Angelo Mangiarotti for Up&Up. Travertine is a form of limestone that exhibits pleasing natural colour variations – its holey surface adding interesting texture. It has been hewn into perfect circle, on a simple cylindrical pedestal. The minimal form allows the stone to steal the show. The solid top has a soft bullnose edge. It is in excellent vintage condition with one minor chip to the rim underside.
