Tim Threlfall (1940–1999) began his career working as an assistant to artists Henry Moore, Bryan Kneale and John Hoskin. His earlier sculptures were formed of strips of metal welded together at contrasting angles making the sculptures look unstable. These reliefs mimic the forms shown in his earlier sculptural work, a playful balance of form and dynamism.
In good vintage condition, some cracking to the paintwork. Small repair to one relief.
