An early and rare table lamp designed by by H. Busquet for the Dutch lighting company Hala Zeist. The Illuminated shade sits on top of a delicate and maneuverable frame reminiscent of a paperclip. The hood is constructed from two layers which allows the light to diffuse and indirectly light up the sections in the outer hood. In our opinion the quality of design and construction of the lamp is easily on a par with the great Italian lighting of the era.
An elegant and playful design, a triumph in understated Dutch minimalism.
The lamp is in excellent condition having recently been rewired. The hood has some signs of ware and a few age related usage marks.
