This expertly crafted Latjes chair were designed by Dutch designer Ruud Jan Kokke. His working style is associated with that of traditions set by Gerrit Rietveld in that he heavily prototypes each design in his workshop. Kokke has designed for companies such as Metaform, Leolux, Spectrum Design Eindhoven, Kembo, Auping and Ahrend.

The seat and back of this Latjes chair is made from fine dovetailed oak staves. Remarkably strong, a real feat of engineering. In excellent original condition, its age has mellowed the oak and has a wonderful warmth.
