Curved bent ply stacking chairs designed by the architect Roland Rainer for the Vienna City Hall in Austria – 1956. Made from a birch ply seat on a black painted beech frame. All chairs have been checked and have new bolts. They came from a church in Rotterdam which was recently pulled down. The chairs used to be screwed to each other to form pews.
