An arched mirror over a wooden console with textured briar wood details. Its designer, Pier Luigi Colli, was known for his unique combination of materials, and worked in partnership with contemporary architects including Gio Ponti and Carlo Mollino.
Colli studied at the Paris Ecole Paris École des Arts Décoratifs and returned to Italy in the
1920s. Fascinated by Parisian and Art Deco styles, he sought to reinterpret their elegance.
With its clean lines and subtle etching, this piece is one of his more minimal designs.
In good condition, with a small chip to its base corner and minor dryness to the veneer.
