Giorgina Castiglioni is an architect and designer who actively explores bio-ecological architecture and industrial production waste. She has curated exhibitions on the metamorphosis of material, the relationship between women and design, as well as developing projects looking into humanity and its relationships with the organic. She studied at the Polytechnic of Milan following the footsteps of her father the renowned architect and designer Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. Her design work has received many awards and she has collaborated with renowned Italian producers, Gufram, Alessi, Sirrah, Kartell and Valenti.
This pair of modular units are made from injection moulded plastic. The top can be removed and each piece can slot into each other allowing for a secure stacking to take place. They are very versatile as a result and could be used as beside tables, side tables, coffee tables or storage units. We have had all the external and internal surface re-finished to freshen them up and extend their life. They are in very good condition as a result.
